For more than 75 years, Iona College has demonstrated a commitment to the pursuit of academic excellence in the tradition of the Christian Brothers and American Catholic higher education. Named by the Christian Brothers after an island off the west coast of Scotland that is home to the monastery of St. Columba, Iona College opened its doors in 1940 with nine Christian Brothers and six lay faculty. Since then, Iona has educated and motivated an increasingly diverse student population seeking to better their lives and the lives of others, using their education for the common good to Move the World.

Graduate degrees are offered at both the main campus in New Rochelle, as well as in Manhattan’s Rockefeller Center for select Media & Strategic Communication Department programs.
